Our client is looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at their dynamic and fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Philadelphia, PA. As a Warehouse Manager, you will lead a supervisory team and manage nearly 200 warehouse associates in a cold temperature facility to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate operations. Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
Monday-Friday. You will work on site at the Philadelphia Distribution Center and provide leadership and management to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Warehouse leadership is expected to be onsite sufficient to provide effective leadership to each shift as operational needs require. Anticipated schedule will vary during the first few months.
Responsibilities to include:
Providing KPI's, P&L analysis, QA continuous improvement for the warehouse operations.
Supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of merchandise in the warehouse; oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, and administrative functions; oversee, train, evaluate staff.
Ensure optimal space utilization.
Prepare annual budget.
Liaise with suppliers and transport companies.
Routinely review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate and oversee aspects of warehouse operations with all stakeholders including Inventory, HR, Finance, Operations, Procurement, Transportation.
Qualifications/requirements:
BA/BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration (MA/MS in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or organization development & change) highly desired.
5+ years of warehouse management experience.
Experience in the food service/processing industry required
Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, analytics, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills working with a diverse workforce.
Experience creating KPIs and P&L analysis required.
Available to work extended hours and provide regular hands-on presence during 24-hour operations in a cold temperature facility, consisting of three shifts.
Proficient computer skills, including WMS experience.
